Chapter 643: Negotiation Tactics.

When Money Body thought about this great loss to his reserve of lifespan, he groaned inwardly and said to himself, ’To think I will encounter this just before my mission to Oceania. This much loss in my lifespan will make my plan become more difficult to execute.’

He had already tried to save his lifespan by not letting his subordinates join him on the mission. That way, the participants of the mission won’t have to rely on the same pool of resources to maintain their lifespan, and they would be able to use the entire savings of the alliance to keep themselves alive.

There is also the fact that he plans to sacrifice his teammates for the mission. So he can’t take his subordinates along for the mission. But if he lost half of his savings, it would feel like he had already taken his subordinates to Oceania and lost half of them before the mission.

But not only will he lose half of his savings, but he will also lose Forced Exchange as a subordinate. Since the Forced Exchange Metac will remain, he should be able to replace Forced Exchange. But this will still take time.

At this point, Monarch Forced Exchange had reached his limit and was ready to back off. After all, he only had one minute left or 6,742 years of lifespan left to live.

In the third dimension, he gritted his teeth and deactivated the Forced Exchange Metac. The divine merit points that he spent had already gone to Loki and the sect. So not only had he lost all of his lifespan, but he had also lost 343,279 years’ worth of resources of the alliance and 550 divine merit points.

After doing this, the tug of war between him and Gold Body for the Gold Body Metac had ended. This reduced the amount of lifespan that he was losing by 6 years per second. So he was only losing 112 years of lifespan per second right now.

On the other hand, Loki didn’t need to keep spending 60 years of his lifespan to stop Forced Exchange from taking his Gold Body Metac.

Forced Exchange thought that he was losing more lifespan per second than Loki, since he believed that Loki was only spending 6 years per second on the Gold Body Metac to speed up, not 36 years per second like Loki was actually losing.

So he believed that he was now at a disadvantage in the rate of the loss of lifespan, but he still went through with this and gave up on 550 divine merit points because he didn’t want to die.

In fact, he also wanted to give up on blocking the inquiry of his alliance that Loki was doing. But he didn’t do this because he was sure that Money Body would kill him if he betrayed the alliance.

However, he was desperate to live. So he said to Loki, "Let’s make a deal."

Forced Exchange ignored all of the jabs at his pride and said, "I will remove my Cave Heaven and let you go. In exchange, you still stop investigating the Thorn House of Commerce and remove whatever is making my Life Fire lose lifespan."

In response, Loki smiled as he said, "What makes you think I will do that?"

But Forced Exchange wasn’t intimidated. He said, "You have lost more lifespan than I. So I’m sure that your alliance wants to end this, too."

"I’ve already shown my sincerity by letting go of your Gold Body Metac. Since I don’t have so many divine merit points lying around, you can be sure that I won’t go back on my word in that regard and reactivate the Forced Exchange Metac."

"What I need from you now is to show your sincerity. Stop your investigation, and we will put an end to this."

Loki nodded in agreement as he listened to Forced Exchange speak. After the money cultivator was done, he said, "You have made good points. But I refuse."

His words immediately made Forced Exchange angry. The money cultivator shouted, saying, "Why? What else do you want?"

Loki sneered as he said in reply, "Why? It is because I know for sure that you’re about to reach your limit."

"The fact that you deactivated your Divine Metac and lost so many divine merit points proves to me that I only need to push a little more, and you will die. So I have all the initiative and can dictate if you die or not."

"As for what else you can give me, that’s even simpler. I want a lot of Divine Metacs. If you can give me two Divine Metacs, I will let you go."
