Is Chapter 128 really the first time?
Is Chapter 128 really the first time?
Yu Heng leaned against the headboard and lit a cigarette.
Zhou Mengqi got up, went to the bathroom to get a towel, and stared at Yu Heng for a while as she dried him.
"What are you looking at?" Yu Heng flicked his cigarette ash.
"Let's see if it still works," Zhou Mengqi said.
"What do you think?" Yu Heng asked, looking at her.
Zhou Mengqi smiled and lowered her head.
-
When they parted ways, Yu Heng glanced at the time; it was six o'clock, and the hourly rate for the room was about to expire.
"Go wash up," he said.
"Aren't you going to wash?" she asked.
"Go back and wash up." Yu Heng stubbed out his cigarette.
Zhou Mengqi came out of the bathroom, walked to the bedside, and began to get dressed.
After getting dressed, she tidied her hair in front of the mirror.
Yu Heng looked at her: "You said before that this was your first time."
Zhou Mengqi paused for a moment, looking at him in the mirror: "Yeah, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing," Yu Heng said.
Zhou Mengqi turned around: "The club president doesn't believe me?"
"Does it matter whether you believe it or not?" Yu Heng asked.
Zhou Mengqi looked at him for a few seconds and then smiled: "It's somewhat important."
"I believe you," Yu Heng said, squinting at her, "but your performance doesn't seem like it. Who turned you into this?"
You can usually tell if it's the first time or not.
"Someone I haven't been in contact with for over a year," Zhou Mengqi pursed her lips, "I hope he remembers me."
"I've become a stand-in?" Yu Heng raised an eyebrow.
Zhou Mengqi didn't respond. She walked up to Yu Heng, stood on tiptoe, and kissed him on the cheek: "Let's go, it's time to check out."
As they went downstairs to check out, the woman at the front desk glanced at them but didn't say anything.
It was already getting dark when I stepped out of the hotel.
"I'm going back to school," Zhou Mengqi said.
"Mm," Yu Heng replied.
"President," Zhou Mengqi called out to him, "Can I ask you for help again next time?"
Yu Heng looked at her: "Is something the matter?"
"It's just..." Zhou Mengqi pursed her lips, "...about this kind of thing today."
"It depends," Yu Heng said.
Zhou Mengqi smiled and said, "Okay, then I'll ask you out when I'm free."
-
When Yu Heng returned to the villa, it was already completely dark.
He took out his keys and opened the door. The living room light was on, and Bai Xinran was sitting cross-legged on the sofa looking at her phone.
Hearing the noise, she looked up: "You're back. Have you eaten?"
"Not yet." Yu Heng took off his coat and hung it up.
"Shall I cook you something?" Bai Xinran walked towards the kitchen. "Would noodles be alright?"
"No need for the next part," Yu Heng smiled. "The next part is fine though."
Bai Xinran tilted her head before realizing what was happening: "Oh dear!"
"However," Yu Heng added, "that means we'll be eating steamed buns."
"Oh dear!" Bai Xinran pursed her lips for a while, then looked up and said, "Would you like some steamed buns?"
Yu Heng sat down on the sofa: "I won't eat today. I already had seafood today, haha."
Bai Xinran returned from the kitchen, sat down next to Yu Heng, and leaned on his lap.
"Do you know anyone at our school's city campus?" Yu Heng asked.
Bai Xinran paused, her body still on his lap, and looked up at him: "The one from the west side of the university?"
"Yes," Yu Heng's fingers were still stroking her back, "Did you know any classmates in your freshman year?"
"Yes," Bai Xinran thought for a moment, "Our comic club has a branch there, and we're all in a big group chat. We're quite familiar with a few of them, and we're planning to meet up next week."
"Help me find out if there's a girl named Wang Wenyu in the early childhood education major. See if she's joined any clubs or student councils. It would be best if we could get her WeChat or QQ."
Bai Xinran blinked: "What's wrong? Who is this person?"
She was a little suspicious. Why was Yu Heng suddenly asking about other girls, especially those from other campuses?
"Don't ask who it is yet," Yu Heng's fingers slid to the back of her neck, "I'll tell you later."
Since this concerns Qin Lu, it's best not to discuss it without her consent.
Let him check out Wang Wenyu's situation first. If she can make Lin Liyan cheat on him, she must be pretty good, right?
At least you need to know what he looks like and what his personality is like in order to figure out what to do next.
Bai Xinran pursed her lips and didn't ask any further questions.
"Okay," she replied, "I'll ask in the group tomorrow to see if anyone knows anyone."
"Mmm," Yu Heng responded, slowly drawing circles on her back through her clothes.
Bai Xinran felt a little ticklish from his touch, and shrank her neck, but didn't pull away.
"How's your livestream going lately?" Yu Heng asked.
"It's alright," Bai Xinran said. "The number of followers is growing a bit slowly, but it's still relatively stable."
"What about the content?"
"Just like you said, interact more with the comments, and sing a song occasionally." Bai Xinran paused, "It's just... sometimes I don't know what to talk about."
"Talk about topics you're good at," Yu Heng said. "Like comics or games. Don't always try to find topics. Talk about what you like, and people will naturally listen."
"Mmm." Bai Xinran nodded, her hair brushing against Yu Heng's pants.
After a moment of silence in the living room, Bai Xinran suddenly spoke up: "Did you... go to film a video today?"
"Um."
"Did the filming go smoothly?"
"It's alright," Yu Heng said.
Bai Xinran didn't ask any more questions.
She felt Yu Heng's hand slide down her back and stop at her hip.
Her body tensed up for a moment, then slowly relaxed.
"Tomorrow's Saturday," Yu Heng said. "What are your plans?"
"I have an assignment to do this morning," Bai Xinran said. "I haven't decided what to do this afternoon yet."
"Come to my room this afternoon," Yu Heng said, gently squeezing her hand. "It's time to record the material for the second episode of that audio we talked about last time."
Bai Xinran's face flushed, and she whispered, "Okay."
"This time we're going to record something different," Yu Heng said in a lower voice, "You have lines."
"You have lines?" Bai Xinran buried her face even deeper, her ears turning bright red. "I'm a little nervous..."
"What are you nervous about?" Yu Heng said with a smile, "You did pretty well last time."
"I'm afraid I won't be able to control myself and won't be able to deliver my lines well." Her voice trembled.
"It's better if you can't control yourself," Yu Heng laughed. "That's the kind of genuine reaction we want."
"Then..." her voice was muffled, "what time tomorrow afternoon?"
"Around two o'clock," Yu Heng said. "Can you finish your homework by morning?"
"Yes," Bai Xinran said, "very soon."
"Okay, then get some rest early today. I'm a little tired, I'm going to take a shower and go to bed." Yu Heng patted her.
Bai Xinran understood, climbed off Yu Heng's lap, and straightened the hem of her clothes.
"Then I'll go back to my room now," she said. "Goodnight."
