Chapter 1782 - 1198: Who Are You?
Chapter 1782 - 1198: Who Are You?
"But you all, most likely won’t be able to see it."
When such a strange yet young, filled with a mocking voice echoed on the top floor of the Ritual Tower, all the Saints present widened their eyes.
"Boom!"
"Boom!"
Without any hesitation, even before the "Fire Princess" and "Giant Soldier" reacted, the "Tyrant" and the "Ba Snake" moved first.
One wielded a gigantic sword about the size of their own body, the other held a pair of short swords, one instantly shattered the gemstone floor beneath their feet, the other whipped up sonic booms, like a chariot and a bullet simultaneously charging toward the source of the voice.
There, three figures appeared at some unknown time, welcoming their furious attack without a word.
But facing this wave of attack, the three seemed not to fear at all, particularly the leader who didn’t even move, just calmly standing there.
Then, the two figures on either side of that person suddenly went forward.
"Clang!"
A petite figure drew a dazzling gold sword like lightning, releasing a strike as light as a girl’s dance, colliding with the pair of swords swung without regret by the "Ba Snake", sparking a clash of metal with a ring and making a circle of sparks burst like fireworks.
"Boom!"
Another curvier, more mature figure raised a dark, ominous magic sword, splitting down with a black sword light breaking through heaven and earth, the sword light like a flood gushing out, blasting toward the "Tyrant" who charged like a tank.
This all seems complex in description, yet from the sudden appearance of the voice to the "Tyrant" and "Ba Snake" launching their attack without hesitation, and then being countered one by gold sword and the other by a flood of black sword light, this entire process occurred in less than a second.
In less than a second, the clash of metals and explosive sounds appeared on the top floor of the Gemstone Tower, forcing the "Ba Snake" back with an unmatched power, making the "Tyrant" roar lowly, his whole body blasted by the sword light, feet carving out two long furrows on the ground, gems flying, dust swirling.
"Who...?!"
At this time, the "Giant Soldier" on the high platform finally reacted, shouting in a mixture of shock and anger.
"Who is it?!"
The "Fire Princess" said nothing, but her enchanting, alluring face turned solemn, her expression grew grave.
She already guessed who the intruder is.
"What? Forgot me so quickly?"
The youth, who hadn’t moved from the beginning, maintained his mocking tone, speaking thusly.
"Not long ago, you all just tagged along like shadows, trailing behind me sneaking into the Hidden Land, no?"
This remark left everyone knowing who came.
"You, are you Reiger Brillhaut?"
The "Giant Soldier" spoke out in shock.
Only at this moment, did the "Tyrant" and "Ba Snake" recognize the faces of Reiger and his group.
A young man, two young women.
The young man empty-handed, without any equipment, yet a green gemstone pendant hung around his neck, and a peculiar pattern of three crossing swords marked the back of one hand, while a ring adorned the other.
One woman larger than the other, the larger carrying an ominous magic sword, the smaller wielding a dazzling gold sword, the former’s face emotionless, the latter tense, yet it was possible to see that both, with their breathtakingly beautiful features, bore many similarities.
To the Saints who had been watching this group for some time, collecting their information well, these bright characteristics made it impossible not to guess their identity.
Even without noting these striking features, just seeing their unbelievably youthful appearance, coupled with their extraordinary prowess beyond their apparent age, it could guess their identity.
After all, even searching across the entire Akasha continent, those possessing such strength at such a young age could only be a few.
The arrival of Reiger, Liz, and Yuloli.
"How could you appear here?"
The "Tyrant" numb-handed, face cautious, scrutinized the emotionless Yuloli, speaking uneasily.
"...Was it the ’Ice Lady’ and ’Kiloton’ that revealed this location to you?"
The "Ba Snake" with a cold expression, glanced sideways at the "Fire Princess".
"It couldn’t have been the ’Ice Lady’ and ’Kiloton’ who spoke."
The "Fire Princess" shook her head, her voice steady.
"Don’t forget, before we came here, besides the ’Sky Huntress’ and the ’Giant Soldier’, no one knew of this place."
The Ritual Tower used to start the Liberation Ritual was situated in this Hunger Great Wilderness, built on the ancient magic civilization’s capital Saint Lance’s ruins, which they didn’t know earlier either.
If not for the plan’s formal initiation, many of the Saints, including the "Fire Princess", would be unaware of the Ritual Tower’s location, only the "Sky Huntress" and "Giant Soldier" knew of it.
The former being the leader, it would be strange if they didn’t know, the latter the Ritual Tower’s main builder, naturally couldn’t be ignorant.
Hence, even if the "Ice Lady" and "Kiloton" betrayed the Sanctuary, they could only know the Sanctuary’s intention, not the Liberation Ritual’s central Ritual Tower’s location.
